No no no! You got it all wrong u baboon! Its not like having bluray vs HD. Theres a huge 3d boost performance on the Epic. Reason is that it had a dedicated 3d gpu that pushes polygons as fast as a playstation 2. Now, the Evos SnapDragon is just a 1ghz cpu doing ask the work. No supped up GPU for dedicated 3d hardware accelaration. Which means..... SnapDragon is no dragon. But rather yet another HTC Hardware failure which has been known from 4 years now. It started when the 6700 got upgraded to the 6800. Everyonw noticed it was slower than the previous 6700 device. Devs looked into it and realized it was not being Hardware Accelarated. Further digging into it lead to the discover of no 3d drivers. People were very mad. And we all figured the next gen device would be fixed by htc. Guess what? Nope. No fix. Vouge had the same issue. Tilt same problem. Touch Pro had same problem. Touxh pro 2 had same problem. Now... We all had hope on the Snap Dragon cpu since it had a great name and ir would sport a 1 ghz speed. But once released, it was quicklt shadowed by the Samsung Cortex Gpu on the Galaxy S devices. Remember the Sprint Super Sonic rumors? Where Sprint was getting a device capable of hd vid and incredible Hardware Accelaration? Ohh yes, it came true when the galaxy s phones came out. Now I can finally rest and enjoy my long awaited answer to all my iphone owner friends. I love the epic.
