Theft and loss is not covered???
They should change the name from TEP (Total Equipment Protection) to LEP (Limited Equipment Protection)

Everything is covered. Things like water damage, lost phone, etc. go through Asurion - $100 deductible. All other phone problems are covered by Sprint (easiest to get service in an authorized Sprint service center)

I was being fecicious. I'm quite familiar with Sprint and with Asurion.
I just this week got my wife's TP ( fail screen ) and my TP2 (keyboard letter not working) replaced at the Sprint store.
Not to mention the 7 TP's I went through before giving my wife my TP and upgrading my phone to a TP2.
But thanks for the clarification. I hope others can glean some of the knowledge you and I obviously share.

The insurance cover loss theft liquid and damage. Total protection. When you take it to the store with insurance it covers damage to the phone minus dbr (board level damage such as broken charge ports) loss and theft.

I was really glad to see Sprint value thier customers when this happened to me I expected to have to raise cane but the guy was courteous and $35 bucks was reasonable to me. I might buy a good case now though!

That was a big bump!

Just make sure you go to a corporate store. My ex took her phone which is on my plan to an "authorized reseller" with a service center and it cost me $100.
