Transfer Widgets from One Device to Another
I'm an HTC EVO (rooted) owner and am trying to help my dad with his Epic. He loves the HTC widgets that I have on my EVO, especially the small clock with the calendar and temperature. I have looked at Fancy Widget but that isn't quite what he's looking for.
Is there a way to transfer the widgets from my EVO to the Epic? Any help is appreciated!

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I have seen this subject pop up here before and I am pretty sure that HTC widgets only work on HTC devices because they are part of the Sense UI. If you just want to replicate the clock/weather widget, spend $1.99 and buy Beautiful Widgets. There are several threads about it around here. It is highly customizable and IMHO better than the clock/weather widget from HTC.

For you to use HTC widgets requires a complete port of Sense UI...which if it were to be done would take some time as Sense UI is built deep into Android. My suggestion at the moment is try what ksfoster said aka Beautiful Widgets
