So it looks like it depends on the volume of traffic and what time you do your testing. I live in the country and almost get 2bars 3g at best. I found a good way to save battery is when I get home. I turn on the wifi for the data connect rather than use the 3g connection which will use more juice for my hourly updates. I love my TP2, but I love this phone more. Very happy with Touch Wiz 2.5 (with ADW Launcher loaded) and Android 2.1. I understand that 2.2 for the EVO has BT voice command now. So maybe when we get our update the same will be true.
Well in my case 4g isn't even officially in my area...but what I find weird is 2 things...1) how upload is doing so well and download isn't..and 2) the diffirence in 1 and 2 bars and how tilting a phone makes that difference..lol

I'm not complaining about it and overall like this phone.. just found it kinda weird lol

I'm sure as they roll-out 4g in your area it will get better. As far as the battery goes, I'm trying my best to run the battery dead by DLing apps, leaving Wifi, BT and playing several games. Multi calls, several gmail messages and text and only now starting to get the low battery warning at 12% after 6 hrs of use.
