If you want the other widgets, I'm sure there are others out there that do similar tasks. I simply prefer an HTC-esque look with the snappiness of the touchwiz because I feel the SenseUI slows the phone down.

I'm sure you're right about that, but after a week of being "senseless", I miss it. It's one of two things I like better about my TP2.

my fancy widget keeps not updating. the time and the weather. I have to reboot the phone or add/del the widget.

I don't have that problem with Beautiful Widgets, it updates as set.

I've bought BW the day after I bought the phone and I love it. BTW it also gives you a 5 day forecast. The only issue I have is that sometimes the clouds start drifting across my screen when I don't want them to, and I have to touch the screen to make it go away. Its like the program launches itself each time it updates. Its no big deal, just adds one extra click every now and then, but its weird.

This is my Samsung Epic 4G. Looks almost like Sense.

Note: Launcher Pro Plus + Beautiful Widgets. I also get calender, facebook, and twitter that looks like Sense.

If you do not want those animations you can go into Beautiful Widgets settings, scroll down to advanced and uncheck "unlocked animations"
