Re: the epic is amazing, but I might have to go back to the TP2

I think this would be a good place for me to insert that I changed my plan from a $30 sero to the $60 everything plus for a week. I was then able to deactivate my epic and switch back to the tp2 which is where I am now. Your plan had so many add-ons it will be more difficult to get back to though. Also they can only switch to an old plan over the phone.

edit: strange side note, Touch pro 2's can't be activated on the everything plus plan it says it is incompatible with them. Or at least thats what they told me in store.

Sprint has become a total rip off. They are no longer the carrier that provides the awesome discounts even if you have a legacy plan. I guess their heads must of gotten so big since getting it somewhat together plus the new android phones. What is really doing it for me now is the employee discounts end for additional lines and after all my discounts I have had over the years that Sprint has been taking away, the employee one is all I have left! Screw this. It looks like they rather squeeze every last dime out of their loyal customers rather than fishing for new ones. Bad move Sprint. Sprint sucks right now and Im leaving after 10 years. Fack Sprint and die!

Re: the epic is amazing, but I might have to go back to the TP2

I don't know where you think you are going to go. Every other major carrier out there charges more than Sprint for the same service. Sprint service is touch and go where I live, and I almost switched to Verizon, but when I looked at how much more it costs, Sprint is still WAY cheaper. Same for AT&T.

I have had the Sprint Everything plan for over 2 years and with 2 lines, 1500 anytime minutes and unlimited everything else my bill is always $125.00/mo. Sure, the Epic will raise that by $10, but even still, that same plan with Verizon or AT&T will cost close to $200. And you really can't beat Sprint's "Any Mobile Anytime" deal that make all calls to all mobile phones free, regardless of the carrier.

And as far as my touchy service goes, I called and threatened to drop them because of it and they gave me an Airave for free.

So, good luck with that.

Good luck on finding a lower cost service. Sprint still beats other wireless providers when it comes to price and addons. The legacy plans might not be compatible with android phones but if you get a hold of a sero plan it only cost $10 more to get android come oct.1. I dare you to find a cheaper service than that.

You dare me? You ever heard of Metro PCS? Does 40 dollars for unlimited minutes text and data a month sound good to you? You can actually flash any CDMA phone to their service - the EVO was just done not that long ago with everything working flawlessly and the epic is W.I.P. Their internet might be a bit slower than Sprint but they're getting 4g service pretty soon. Im making the move and Im going to start saving money now sprint is just not worth it anymore but I wish them good luck on getting new devices the more phones they offer the more phones I get to choose from for Metro! I know what you mean the service is still cheaper than the other main carriers Im not arguing that...Im arguing that they are incrementally charging me more money time after time and even breaching my contract while doing so. It is unethical for any company to do that especially a company who keeps on doing it AND to their most loyal customers. Sprint reaching more and more into my pocket ends now! Fack you Sprint!

If you were to go to metro pcs for 2 lines you would get more and pay less. 1 line $40+addl line $35=$75.00 a month and unlike sprint no add'l fees and $125-$75= you will be saving $50 bucks a month and $50x1 is $600 bucks a year!!!! If I were you I would check if metro is available in your area and cancel sprint right now and flash an Evo or epic to metro! If not, keep getting booty raped by sprint. Enjoy!

That's a good plan but you don't get any mobile anytime, unlimited nav and sprint tv. Not to mention there are no roaming charges and you get better coverage than metro. Plus most people don't want to deal with the flashing of their phone so it can work with metro pcs. The sero plan beats any plan out there hands down. But hey, if you like metro then go for it. I myself will stick with my $40 sero plan.

Why would you need any mobile anytime with metro when you have free unlimited minutes???

True. Unlimited is nice. For some people that talk alot on land lines that plan is great, but for those who call cell phones then sprint makes more sense since you can call any cell phone unlimited with no roaming charges. I guess we will see how fast metro keeps expanding.
