the epic is amazing, but I might have to go back to the TP2

I have no clue what the lady behind the counter did... but I got home and read my first months bill. From $55 with a TP2 to $96 with the Epic? this can not stand. I'm going to have to get my gf to call them.

Re: the epic is amazing, but I might have to go back to the TP2

no, they changed my plan. I had a plan that was tailor made for me giving me 200 day time minutes, unlimited txt +$10, unlimited nights/weekends, nights starting at 7pm $5, internet reduced to $10, $7 insurance and then a -11% for 11 years on spint... then -7% for EMC.
equaled $55.
now it is $69.99 + $10 + $7 insurance + taxes is $96

Your plan wasn't compatiable with the Epic (and you've probably had that plan for a while, I'm assuming). Only the everything data plans (which begin at $69.99) are compatiable with Android/WebOS phones.

Re: the epic is amazing, but I might have to go back to the TP2

there are a couple of things the OP can do,

apply for the new sero (look at android central or android forums, i rmbr seeing a sprint rep posting his info for it today), which gives him the same for $10/mo cheaper (i guess that would make it $70/mo instead of $80). or apply for a corporate discount which can give you up to 35% off the monthly bill. just go to a sprint store and tell them you work at whatever place you work at, though only certain companies give you discounts, i dunno if you have to show any proof either, a friend of mine didn't but he actually worked at the place he said he worked at.
