People there are other phone sites besides ppcgeeks and xda!!!! why do i keep reading this form people? just because a particular handset doesnt have a huge following on here and xda doesnt mean no one is modding it.

SDX developers HAD a lot going on for the moment before the EVO came out. They are the masterminds behind a lot of the stuff you see on here. I'm confident that SDX will have developers doing what they do best when this thing drops.

Whoah, calm down killer LOL. But seriously, you do have a point though, there's definitely a plethora of sites that have people modding and etc.

Re: Sprint Epic 4G

Being that this is a top of the line device, and all the major carriers are getting at least the regular non-kb version, there is a good chance for development. I'm a faithful MightyROM user, and the way we act, I can safely assume we'll buy Mike one if he is interested in working on one of these.

i would not go so far to say that. xda already openened their site to non htc devices and the galaxy s already has their own section. plus since its launching in all 4 carriers in some way or another, id bet it would get a lot of support

Just an fyi..the sprint version is the Galaxy S Pro. All the other carriers are just Galaxy S.

Just wanted to chime in.

Re: Sprint Epic 4G

There is a hands-on preview on Engadget. http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/29/s...ic-4g-preview/

And Androidcentral: http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-epic-4g-hands-on

Looks fantastic. But maybe too big?

I beat ya to it ...but I don't' think its too big..looks just right to me...and you can see its pretty thin for a keyboard phone too..

the only reason it may seem big is in the preview they hold it to show which may be uncomfortable or big to do that..but when you hold it properly it should be comfortable..not to mention this phone will make watching movies on possible...
