I downloaded it as well. I really, really want to learn how to cook android roms, but I don't have a clue where to start. This is just a whole different game from winmo.

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v3.3 BYOR and Pre-Built AIO (VERY COOL) 2/14/2011
This Rom is the best Rom I have tried and I have tried a lot of different android rom trying to find the perfect combination of speed battery life and usefulness and this Rom score high marks in all categories. I was coming from Bonsai Rom so I had a hard time at first but once I 3X wiped and then removed the old system files on the sd card everything has been just groovy. Keep up the good work. The battery life on the Rom is incredible. With medium use I was able to get 12 hours with about 40% battery life left and I used the gps, make some phone calls, received email, and played some music while using the gps. The battery life on this Rom is the best I have ever seen. I have been using this Rom for two days now with no reboots knock on wood.

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v3.3 BYOR and Pre-Built AIO (VERY COOL) 2/14/2011
I've lost the ability to add my own custom ringtone for notification. I only get the choice of the system ringtones. It doesn't ask me which default I want to set. Do I have to flash a different zip from the Extras folder to get this feature back? I did not do the Standard build because I was having reboot issues and FC.
Any help appreciated. |

I have version 3.2. I just started getting the message: " Sorry! The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. I have forced to close and rebooted, keeps on coming back every time I use my phone or an app.
Any suggestions? GD |

Sometimes you just get a bad flash. If you keep having the same problem after flashing it again, try using Odin to go back to stock DK28 and them flash from there. Usually if there is any data corruption anywhere that will get rid of it. |
