Re: midNIGHT ROM DK28 (Froyo) v2.2 EXT4 12/29/2010
Actually, my battery life was pretty decent today considering I beat the piss out of it after flashing the EXT4...
BTW - You did remember to disable the DRM's correct? |

Indeed I did. Love the rom and EXT4 but can't handle the battery life.

Re: midNIGHT ROM DK28 (Froyo) v2.2 EXT4 12/29/2010
I was able to flash the other theme and restore my apps from within Titanium Backup without problems. ROM is running smooth and no auto reboots so far. Thanks for the great work on this ROM!

Re: midNIGHT ROM DK28 (Froyo) v2.2 EXT4 12/29/2010
OK, I think I have everything to do this...
SPH-D700-DI18-8Gb-REL.tar.md5 - check SPH-D700-DK28-8Gb-REL.tar.md5 - check midNIGHT ROM v2.2EXT4 - check Quantum ROm 2.5 - check OneClickEXT4.v1.2 - check latest one-click root w/clockwork redirect - check big boy pants - check Now I need a little help because I am confused. Questions are in red: From Post #2: ODIN back to DI18 and let it boot. Then ODIN DK28 (NOT THE EXTENDED VERSION). Then do the 1click root with clockwork redirect. Then Boot into clockwork and flash the quantum 2.5....Reboot and it will stick at the Samsung screen. Pull battery and boot into clockwork. Go to advanced and select Reboot Recovery. Now you should be in the new recovery. Plug the phone in via USB and run the Install bat from your computer. When it finishes flash the kernel (which kernel? KERN-DK28EXT4.zip?) and the reflash quantum 2.5. Then reboot. Once booted download quickboot (I don't understand what this means) and then boot into recovery (make sure you are in the new recovery ends in a 2) (the latest recovery is 2.5.5 How do I get the recovery that ends in a 2?) then wipe data/cache and dalvik x3. Flash midNIGHT v2.2 EXT4 and wipe the caches when down but not data. That should be all you need to do. Last edited by Johnny.Bravo; 12-30-2010 at 07:56 AM. |

2. Quickboot from market 3. If installed correctly you'll get new recovery when using Quickboot. You'll see the version number. Make sure it ends in .2 Good luck Last edited by wudstock54; 12-30-2010 at 08:23 AM. |
