It might have been in the 3.01 update that I never saw. The original one looked fine to me. I know the battery pop up was wrong. I already flashed the new one so I don't know what the problem was.

Well, the first thing I have to say about this ROM is the battery life is way better. Ever since I started using the Froyo beta ROMs my battery life has sucked. I've been getting about 8 hours a day and most of that was with the phone in my pocket. I flashed Viper 3.0 DK28 yesterday and as of right now I have had my phone off the charger for almost 9 hours and I'm still at 55%. Woo-hoo!

cause his rom also wipes your phone the correct way for you, are you calibrating battery?

And yeah, that's a nice touch that he wrote into the script that it wipes everything for you.

well reason he did it was to cut down on people saying rom blows cause of their mistakes restoring data. (not directed @ you)

I went back to the original DK28 3.0. I don't know what he updated (there's no change log) but the original one has the AOSP lockscreen - way cooler and mine works fine, nothing misspelled. It also has the glowing blue battery meter. The battery meter in 3.0 is not only boring, its inaccurate. I guess I'll wait for 3.1 before I update again.

I'm getting a force close when trying to get to Locations & Security. Anyone else seeing that? Also, MobileAP is not working. Anyone else seeing that?

no to the first part but we need to know date on rom you flashed cause mobileAP is not on latest rom for a reason but hotspot is and free.

I took it off. I was getting too much instability. I'll probably try again after doing some extra wipes. Something must have installed wrong.
