My brother crushed his palm pre and is getting a new one through Asurion. Wants to move on to another phone, preferrably the Hero. Anyone interested in a trade or to buy it? Agreed...$300 is a bit steep for sure. I got mine brand new for $99 a few months ago.

I don't know if this is how he did it, but on forums like slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com, they mentioned some places where the TP2 was very cheap (like $49), and other phones were also. This was with a contract extension/new contract, and with newer plans. I think most of these websites are unavailable now, but you never know. Check it out if you haven't already.
