I agree somewhat with that, except they would have the first cdma version...plus it's going to get ALL android updates, some of those won't make it to the evo 3d.

Quite true, but the EVO is gonna be a kick@$$ phone and the devs will give us plenty of ROMs to play with.

Have all of the Motorola's been rooted? Didn't Motorola do something to make rooting very very difficult or impossible?

I saw on one of the reviews thy it is supposed to be shipping with an unlocked bootloader. Time will tell I suppose but I'm pretty well settled on the 3D.

Re: Sprint Nexus S 4G is offical.. NOW for Pre-order!!!!!

This might give you an idea of how long we'll be waiting for it, the FCC just recently received the phone for testing...

Samsung Nexus S 4G hits the FCC -- Engadget

I wonder if this means that the phone still hasn't even been produced in mass quantities yet.

@Dr.8820

What announced updates are you referring too? If the phone ships with a, "keyword" working Gingerbread 2.4 ROM as expected, what feature(s) sets are you looking forward too? As I said before bluetooth, install to storage card, Flash, copy and paste, the dreaded wrong text addressee fix and dual core support should all be in the released update, why would timely updates be needed at this point? I didn't see anything coming down the road that I need immediately today and couldn't wait 3 or 4 months for. I'm not trying to bait you or anything, I'm just wondering if I'm missing something at this point to reevaluate my opinion. I just feel now that we are over the Froyo/Gingerbread hurdle, better hardware is where the attention should go--right??

If you pre-order the phone through the website studentrate.com you get a monthly discount on your bill, free shipping and stuff.

Wirelessly posted (Htc Arrive: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows Phone OS 7.0; Trident/3.1; IEMobile/7.0; HTC; T7575))

Can anyone post some specifications, I have seen 2-3 different specifications list. PDA.net says one thing and sprint's website says something else.

what's the deal with memory? Is it 16gb internal and no sd slot. Or sd slot and 4gb internal? And is the screen size 3.7 or 4.0. Someone please shed some light.

lol/Tia
