I just setup a cron job to check if its running every minute, so now if that pops up it shouldn't last longer than a minute. This will work until I have more time to look into it.

If I can get it fixed tonight, I'll flip the switch on Apache and move us over to nginx.

1:50 pm PDT, I got server too busy messages both in the :8000 part of the site and on the normal site.

And running a cron job every minute wouldn't negate whatever benefit nginx would have given us? Just wondering.

Nginx is still working for me and much faster than normal. And for the record, I was just now not able to access the site through Apache and popped in ":8000" into the URL and it worked just fine. Took it out and Apache was still having issues.
