I'm sorry to hear this has happened to somebody else. I can tell you you watch your back more often after that.

I moved the night I had a guy chase after me with a gun as I pulled up from driving home at 2am from Atlanta. I was rolling up to my front door with my lights and engine off and my front door was wide open eith all the lights on. Next thing I know a guy is running out the front door after me with a gun and my flat screen under the other arm. He got to my car window and pointed a gun at me as I was starting the car and flying backwards through the parking lot to get away. He ran back in and grabbed my laptop and ran. The TV and laptop were wothless to him as it had a special 4 pin power supply and the laptop I had just unsoldered a bad internal power supply.
Needless to say the police dusted everything and got a note in the mail saying the case was being closed a couple of weeks later. I had things stashed in friends garages at my parents place.
I had a door jam that was splintered into a million pieces. I took everything of value and stayed at my brothers for a few days then moved 20 miles out of town on Monday. I did break my lease as they never called me back the night I got robbed to come fix my door.
I now have no lights that work from light switches on the wall. Hope they bring a flashlight.

We think we were set up by this one guy we knew for the last two years. He's a great guy, but you never know. He's the only one that knew we had all that shit in the house. I hope they are really investigating these phone calls. I had a threat made to me, so maybe they can trace that soon! The detective is trying to get the call from sprint, their number anyway, since they blocked it. Thanks for caring everyone! God Bless you all!

yeah, I pray they are working on it pretty hard!!! The detective said give him time to trace all 24 pages of phone numbers they've called and also time to trace that restricted/threat phone call.

Lot of good info on this site.

I have had my ccw for a while now, I live real close to a real bad city...Flint.... so I feel its neccessary to protect myself and my family. But its is something not to be taken lightly. I would have no problem shooting in self defense, some people could not shoot no matter what the circumstances. A gun is not to scare the attacker away, it is too eliminate the threat. Sorry to be so blunt but this is a topic i feel very strong on.

I am very sorry to here what happened to you all. Its unfair when good people get attacked.
