Quite welcome. I hear you - I have one PC that's kind of a testbed that gets about anything installed on it, and then gets wiped once in a while.

One of my current projects is a clean install of Ultimate with updated drivers and selected Sony utilities on a new Sony laptop that comes OOB with an absolutely world class amount of JUNK!

Zero-filling, though ... that is hardcore :=)

To remove preinstalled junk, you can use PCDecrapifier. It should be the 1st or 2nd google result
