Re: windows 7 and omnia trouble

As far as I know, Windows 7 by default does not install WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Center) you need to download and install it from MS website.
Once installed, reboot your machine and connect your Omnia i910, system should detect and download drivers for it. I am using Omnia on Windows 7 (release version) for past 3-4 months with couple of reformats in between.
Hope this helps.

Good point, which reminds me. When doing an upgrade to Windows 7, the upgrade advisor told me to uninstall WMDC, then reinstall after the Windows 7 installation. I did that and had no problems after the upgrade.

Did you uninstall WMDC before upgrading and then reinstall after? If not, that might be your problem.
