Opera....I finally figured it out. Tap twice on the screen and....done!
But now....I need to know when entering a URL the way to stop the phone from 'helping' me complete the word. I HATE THAT FEATURE!!!!

That feature sounds like the Samsung keyboard's XT9 word correction. You can turn it off by tapping in any text field to open up the keyboard as normal, then tap the xt9 button; it will change to "abc" signifying that the word correction has been turned off.
