i910 Web text size problems
 

Just started playing with my i910. Flashed "Plain Vanilla" ROM with no problems. I find that when I get to a URL, the text is REALLLLY SMALL. Almost microscopic. Using the "volume up" key doesn't too very much. Are there any 'tricks' to getting the text to a readable size?
Phone was originally with Verizon and now is with PagePlus.

Opera....I finally figured it out. Tap twice on the screen and....done!
But now....I need to know when entering a URL the way to stop the phone from 'helping' me complete the word. I HATE THAT FEATURE!!!!

That feature sounds like the Samsung keyboard's XT9 word correction. You can turn it off by tapping in any text field to open up the keyboard as normal, then tap the xt9 button; it will change to "abc" signifying that the word correction has been turned off.

If you tap the left side on the Opera screen and slide your finger up and down it should give you a zoom control also.

Also in Opera go to settings/display and change the text size to Medium and also check the box mobile. That makes the text just the right size for the screen.
But I do have a question. How do you stop it from going to that micro mini size in the first place. Sometimes it zaps right to correct size and sometimes it is microscopic. I'm picky, because I don't even want to do the tap tap. lol
