Re: Omnia I910 and Jawbone Prime Sound Quality Problems
I'm using cc20 and Blazing Wolf's 6.5 Rom. No pairing issues. It paired with my i910 and connects automatically. It's good in that respect, but the outgoing sound quality is muffled and staticy.

Re: Omnia I910 and Jawbone Prime Sound Quality Problems
Any reason you're using CC20 rather than the new CF03?
Stupid question, but have you tried with a different phone? Maybe the headset is defective (if it's new) or it's dying. Who knows. |

Re: Omnia I910 and Jawbone Prime Sound Quality Problems
I'm using the cc20 because it works for me and I really don't want to have to start from scratch setting everything up; like loading all the software, installing all the software, setting all the options, etc., etc. I'd love to go to the CF03 if I didn't have to do all that.
When my wife comes home, I'll try her phone out. thanks. |

Re: Omnia I910 and Jawbone Prime Sound Quality Problems
I'm using BlazingWolf's MS3 ROM & an original Jawbone...no pairing or sound problems here. Try paifing it onto a friend or wifey/GF's phone & see if its the headset.

Re: Omnia I910 and Jawbone Prime Sound Quality Problems
Maybe you have or haven't but I had same problem with a few different ROMs.
1. Turn Jawbone off 2. Hold down volume (back button) then Call button until the LED blinks red then white. 3. Now press add device on your phone Works every time, for me. Sorry such a late post.....

the Prime has a tendency to sound muffled when its dsp is working. its a little different than the JB1&2 in its noise assasin noise killer. its got an additional dsp to give some noise suppression when the nub is not placed correctly and its probably the problem. try making sure the nub is JUST making constant contact but not pressing. it can take several tries to get it right but once acclimated to proper fit it'll amaze you at what it blocks other than wind.they could blow up a building nearby and the person you talking to wont hear a thing. i use mine at work and some machine noises go well above 130 decibel bursts and the engineers im working with hear nothing and get flustered that i ask them to repeat due to not hearing me. they dont believe its machine noise because they dont hear it Last edited by mark elmore; 10-24-2009 at 08:27 PM. |

Re: Omnia I910 and Jawbone Prime Sound Quality Problems
FWIW, I have a Jawbone II with Omnia i910. All of the functions don't work as well as they did with my Q9c. I just assumed it was an Omnia issue.
