Angry Need a little help...

Here we go...

I'm having issues syncing my omnia with two pc's. My PC at work is an XP machine and all i want to sync with it is my contacts and calendar. My PC at home is a Vista machine and all i want to sync with it is my personal email. Where i'm having the problem is with the email. For some reason when i sync with the home computer it justs puts all of my emails on the phone. I get no send/recieve option in windows mobile and i don't get any emails. What am i doing wrong?

Re: Need a little help...

I think that you'll have to manually set up the email on your phone and don't use your Vista PC to sync the email. What type of email is the one at your home? ie. Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo?

You can set up this att.net through the "add new account" dialogue on the phone, then under advanced settings, uncheck the box to have the emails deleted off the server if you want them all to download to the Vista machine as well. The only downside is if the emails get downloaded by the pc first, you won't get them on the phone. This works for me since I only need them on the phone when I'm not at home.
