Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

Awhile back, when palm PDAs went out of style, Best-Buy put the 3-pack Palm stylus on the clearance table. Took the ink refill out of my Parker Pen, the stylus slides right in! So I always have my Pen (ahem-stylus) in my shirt pocket. But if you want it simple, just look for a pen with a bullet shaped plastic cap. I have a Uni Jetstream that works good, and I also like the Bic 730R.

Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

I carried the stylus for a week when I first got the phone but found I wasn't using it so left it on the table where it has sat for > 8 months now (amazing it hasn't been lost). For soft resets I use Reboot Poke on my today screen.

Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

I too keep my stylus on my keys, always have. It's nice because it's small enough that it doesn't get in your way but you have it if you need it. Atleast it doesn't bother me, but that could also be because I also have a hand cuff key that is actually longer than the stylus so I'm used to it :P

Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

Some guy over at Modaco actually glued his stylus to the side of his i900!

Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

He prolly learned that from his wife glueing his "stylus" to his leg.

Anyway..I'm cured. Touchpal & my stylus is on the keychain..haven't touched it in a week.

Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

I also have my stylus tethered to my phone but It's commin off real soon... of corse the only reason it was on there in the first place was to make navigating some menu's eaiser.... but It's scratchin battery cover pretty bad, and I fear one day while it's in my pocket it's gonna bust my screen

Also it makes it quite difficult to hold the phone to your face with your shoulder without the stylus hangin down the back of your sholder... witch itsn't exactly "Stylin" for us batting for the hedero team

witch makes me constantly search for the perfect "Shell" program that a little more touch friendly than the OEM software. SPB shell 3.0 comes close... but It's still not quite there.

To those Guys who still have the stylus attached to their phones... I understand

Re: Anybody else have their stylus tethered to the Omnia?

I also have mine on my keys. The only time I use it is for the transcriber when I'm writing a long email or post. I also use my trusty mechanical pencil that is a must for all surveyors. With the lead retracted it is the perfect stylus. My wife also did the keys thing but she uses her built-in stylus(finger nails) more than anything.
