Two Annoying Thngs...

I'm hoping someone can help me with two things that drive me crazy about my Omnia. #1, When reading text messages or email, when you press the screen twice the zoom window pops up. Is there a way to disable the zoom function? #2, How do you make the scroll bars larger? I usually cause #1 by trying to scroll down in a email but miss the skinny bar. Any help with these will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Two Annoying Thngs...

Not sure about #1, but the answer to #2 depends on which ROM you are using. If you are using the ROM that came with the phone, then you will need to do a registry hack. You can find the keys to change at http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...&postcount=229, but will need a registry editor to do so (let us know if you need a registry editor to do that). If, however, you have upgraded to one of the custom ROMs (at least, Adrynalyn's), then there is a program called Advanced Config that allows you to do this. Let us know what you currently have on your phone and we can give you more information.

Re: Two Annoying Thngs...

If you have the original ROM can't you still use Advanced Config? I used Advanced Config to change the width of the scroll bars in the CC20 ROM but all the icons in Settings shifted and it looked weird so I reverted the changes.

Possibly...I can't remember and don't want to go back to check. However, CC20 wouldn't be the original ROM so it might have been added in it. Given that somebody came up with the registry hack to make the scroll bars wider it would seem to me that it wouldn't have been there (since Advanced Config is much easier to use than the registry hack).
