FM Receiver

Ok folks I dont get it....how do you get the FM receiver to operate.

I plug what looks like to be the headset adapter into the multifunction connector on the bottom left of the Omnia but the application keeps telling me that I need to plug it in...am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Steve

Re: FM Receiver

It doesn't work with the splitter. Has to be the straight headphone adaptor. Stupid, I know. Apparently allowing it to charge while listening wasn't thought out.

um.. that's what the adapter does, allow you to charge when the fm radio cable is plugged in. It has the 3.5mm jack on the end

Re: FM Receiver

Well it seems I dont have the proper accessory. Can you buy replacement receivers, and where could I do this?

And the more important question....has anyone gotten the FM radio to work with Bluetooth headsets. From what I have read this is not possible?

Steve

you can get the accessory just about anywhere, it's called 3.5mm Headset Adapter/FM Radio Antenna

The radio will only work with the antenna plugged in, not sure if it will work with bt. Might want to try internet radio, a site I use is http://thestreamcenter.com

That way you won't look like a tool carrying the antenna above your head trying to get better reception.
