Hello All

This thread will be dedicated to WM 6.5 Widgets. The all 9 yards- The 5 W's- Everyone's 5¢, you get the drift...

FINALLY, A CAB FOR WIDGET ENGINE HERE Credit to Themuzz
Cab file attached. Once cab's installed pick whatever widget and have it run with /windows/wmwidgetinstaller- Working on my i910

GTranslate- a google translate widget

Reuters Top News

11.000 radio & television streams- A windows mobile 6.5 widget. The widget makes contact with a huge database of live streams, so you can easily select a channel and watch it immediately

CTS (explicit content) VGA&QVGA for wm6.5- This widget is only allowed for 18 years and older

Att. is a widget engine cab. If you don't have WM 6.5 widget engine (Lite/Base ROM), install to enable wmwidgetinstall.

I am a newby to this forum and to the cooked roms. Along with the 6.5 rom i am running spbms3. When i loaded fuze mobility widgets... the icons show on the today screen, but when i add a widget to ms3 on lifestyle screen it has a default icon. How can i get the icon to show on the lifestyle screen? Any help would be appreciated.

Any news how to get widgets to install on base rom? No luck over here. Have installed the enable cab

I think all of the needed items were removed from the base Adrynalyne did. Even the cab you tried requires some of the files that were removed.

Right you are Mr. Wolf.
As hard as I've tried I couldn't come up with a widgets install .cab---Any ideas?

I'm running BW's v1.4 Neo Titanium and I was able to get some running w/ the files from XDA.

P.S. CTS was nice....

There's talk over on xda of a widget installer exe file, haven't tracked it down yet. Wonder if AD could post the needed files

Here's an RSS reader widget: http://widgetemulator.codeplex.com/
if you download the test (it's an emulator for desktop IE) it had a smaple RSS feed widget. You can modify this for any RSS feed. The only downside is that links open in your browser and not in the widget...it is a working widgte though...
