Re: You HAVE to delete your "My Storage"

I did a hard reset just on "my storage" and then reloaded all my programs and worked great. There was no need to reload CF03 or Vanilla. GPS works like a charm now, thanks!

Re: You HAVE to delete your "My Storage"

Seems it would be just as easy to get a clean up app, such as SKTools or MemMaid to take care of this task, rather than hard resetting when you want to clean up junk files

Re: You HAVE to delete your "My Storage"

So i formatted My Storage last night before flashing Adryn's 2.0. I was careful to transfer my music over to my pc, thought i was good to go. I totally forgot to backup my pics and videos! Oh well...

Re: You HAVE to delete your "My Storage"

Interesting. I've wondered about this aloud in other forums, but assured that the Device erase that occurs during a standard flash suffices.

Given that I can disable My Storage without any ill-effect, I wonder what might be stored there that could have an impact on overall performance....

I agree. I use the SKTools cleaning tools after every flash+restore and the phone seems to work just fine.
