Re: How do you insert pauses in a dialed number with Omnia?
Just put a " p " in between the numbers you want paused. Like for 123 pause 456, put 123p456. I do it for my voicemail so i don't have to put the code in everytime.
EDIT: You can't dial out and use the pause, it's only for stored contacts. In phone options, by voicemail i have *86p1234.

Re: How do you insert pauses in a dialed number with Omnia?
That's precisely what it won't allow me to do. When I hit the contact it dials and says "this number cannot be completed as dialed" right away. If I remove the "p" it has no problem dialing my voicemail number.

what dialer are you using? I have had issues with things like this in the past and changing dialers fixed it.

Excellent suggestion. I just got the phone and I'm using the default dialer which I guess is Samsung's. Any dialers to suggest?

Well, you could use the stock microsoft one, there is a reg edit for it, but you don't get the screen lock with it and you may press buttons with your face while talking.

Re: How do you insert pauses in a dialed number with Omnia?
Thanks. At least now I know it's not a dialer issue because Windows dialer does the same thing. It must have something to do with the way Telus provisioned their Omnias.

have you tried a comma in the number instead of the "P"?
