updated now locked out, Resco?

I just updated to the vz rom and all was well. THen I used Resco to put all my files back from my storage card and when the phone restarted it asked for a password. Nothing that I put in works. And each time I try a different password it makes me wait a longer period before trying again. any ideas?

Have you tried the last four digits of your phone number? That is what allows you to do a hard reset.

Thanks for the suggestion but it didnt work and now its making me wait 34 minutes until the next try

something else. when i plug usb into my laptop I can get into all the files. Is there a workaround for the password?

dial *228 option 1 and than it should be your last for digits.

also ther is probably files you restored that are not compatable. If try 0000 or maybe reflash and look at what your backup backed up. was it for a cooked rom

I reflashed and got the phone back so now ill try to be more selective in the restore. I had the original rom but I did have several cab files that upgraded the old rom. Ill try restoring w/out them.

Storage card may have had encryption enabled. I've seen the warning that if the card is encrypted, you won't be able to access them after a hard reset.
