Official ROM IS HERE!!!

I think I'm waiting for Adrynelyn's cue. Because even with the Verizon update, we are still going to want Ady's touch. So I'm thinking about just waiting until that young fella gives us the "go ahead" with a ROM to sit on top of it. Because I know he is going to take it and cook a great custom ROM anyway. I may just wait for his. Any advise on that? (Since I like M2D)

I'm right with you on this. I did the cc20 flash (for the first time) yesterday - flashed a couple of 6.5 roms over the past day and a half (I'm almost spending as much time on this as I did when half life came out) -- had to re-flash a couple of times since I added all kinds of spit that didn't work or crashed things.

Adrynalyne's 4.2 release is working very well - there's a lot of things I need to learn but that's part of it.

Why would I want to re-start from scratch with the new 'official' rom right now - and have to build things from scratch. I'm thinking it'll take about a week for the genius's to figure things out and tell us what is the good and the bad with this 'official' release - and if we should go fer it or not. I also get the impression that once we have an .exe official unlock and release - that future upgrades will be much more simple.

I know your pain, trust me. My first three years of college I was pre-med (before I wised up and ditched health care - no offense to doctors or other pre-meds out there! )

Organic chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, genetics, you name it I was there. And I never would have had time for this

With school, a wife, ROM cooking, a million thread questions to answer... We have no idea how you pack it all in, my friend. But we sure appreciate it

Chemical Engineering... I don't know how you find the time to cook. I was a Comp Sci and MIS major, I never had time to do anything other than book work, code and work for money. All the CE and Engineering students in general were tied up with classes like it was med school. Good luck bro... I hope you can continue cooking with your classes about to kick in full gear!
