The last time Verizon released an official rom it did not cripple anything it unlocked the very thing everyone was complaining about...

LMAO.... so they lock a-gps (to charge us for it) and unlock gps. Yep, that sounds about right to me. That's why it took so long. VZnavigator supports A-gps which you can only get if you use VZnavigator... Sounds very plausible to me.

Reasons to be happy about the upgrade:

1) Updated radio
2) GPS with "Enhanced performance"
3) Bug fixes that the chefs were locked out of
4) We now have (or soon will) have a warranty-proof ROM. A big worry about flashing to CC20 was that, if you bricked your phone, you were SOL in the Verizon store. Now that we have an official update we can flash at will with the comfort of knowing that we can always flash back to the official one if something goes terribly wrong and we need to take the phone back for exchange/repair/replacement.

I cant believe how people are rabid for free aGPS. Many cell carriers do not give out free aGPS. Certainly not for the i900. Yet, people flame Verizon for it.

Honestly, I just want it cause it's new, and a little exciting (okay... I'm a geek). Also, I've been kind of worried about breaking my phone since updating to the beta rom...

Seriously, kids, don't expect a-GPS. The TP doesn't appear to have full-blown a-GPS. The Saga didn't get it. CC20 didn't have it built in. And the update webpage itself says "Open Standalone LBS..." (emphasis on the word "standalone")

YEAH! We don't get even rollover minutes!!! But we use Verizon, cause they have the best service.
