it is a lithiom ion battery and they can go bad.... i fly remote control helicopters and the batteries can just bulge .. right before they go bad.


they can present a serious fire hazard.....i'ver never had one explode but i have had one get hot enough for me to put it inside my ammo can/battery storage container.

easy enough to remove the battery and check whether it's flat on both sides or bulging.

Weather panel article described my problem exactly. I disabled it and now Omnia works fine. .. got a new battery.... thanks for the link!
