well. if that's true, my gf has an upgrade right now, guess i'll hold onto it till the release, and then i'll be getting a 2 for testing purposes......

But as far as WMP fuctionality goes, I dont like It. But I LOVE Coreplayer, I highly reccomend it for all your audio and video needs.

Do you know if Coreplayer is configurable to work with Mobile Shell 3's music widget? That would be Primo!

I dont know for sure if it is or not, but id be willing to bet theres a way to map it to it.

Im not a "other" phone hater but I love the customizaBILITY of winmo.
My buddy at work got an iphone about 2 weeks ago and I been playing with it alot and I was very impressed with the stability and I gotta admit it was noce for it to do exactly what I wanted when I wanted without any glitchs, but I cauld tell right away that I would get bored with it very quickly.
To each their own I guess.

Winmo is for those who do like to tinker... some people (yuppies) want the iphone for 2 things, status and ease of use (though it cant do everything).

With WM, microsoft opens "Windows" of opportunity. We are not stuck with being nickel'n'dimed time and time again as they decide they wanna add a tiny feature like a video recorder.lol I mean seriously, whats gunna be soo good about the NEXT iphone? I'll tell ya... OMG THE IPHONE HAS FLASH FOR THE CAMERA!! I GOTTA GO SPEND ANOTHER 600 BUCKS FOR AN LED CUZ MY 3GS DOESN'T HAVE ONE!!!!

kinda cool, i prefer a clean homescreen, that's why i use m2d. pretty snappy response to touch though, and a lotta stuff to play with. my experience w/ the omnia has been good enough to keep me in the sammy/winmo camp for the next phone at least, if the 2 shows the same kind of promise that the original has, i'll be fine with it, even if it is kind of tubby (iphone size)

Agreed all the comments on samsung Omnia phone. Starting with MotQ, XV6800, XV6900 & Omnia from verizon. Recently get black berry storm for global access while travelling out of states in Europe. Finally back to samsung Omnia for the customization with 6.1 flash. 6.5 flash froze when soft reset. I don't know why.

Core player, Konami Player, Skyfire browser, Resco utility pack & PointUI Home2 Pro interface are my personal favorites.
