You mean for a 'tone' when someone texts you?

Re: Text messaging sounds

for the sound you want to show up as available under the - massaging: new text message - portion of sounds and notifications you have to copy the sound into the windows folder of my device in the file explorer

Re: Text messaging sounds

i put mine in the root of my storage and my phone can't find it. ... the only place i could get it to work is in my sounds folder in application data. and it eats up my memory. any fix for that?

Weird, what kind of sound is it, mp3, wav? I've only tried it with mp3's.

Re: Text messaging sounds

I use wavs
well first I use mp3 trimmer to cut it down,
then convert to wav
and put it in the windows directory.
then it will show up as a possibility for all sound notifications.

Re: Text messaging sounds

Place your sounds (Ringtones and message notifications) in Storage Card/My Documents and they will be recognized. Saves space on My Device.
