Cantract Almost over: should I saty Or move to ATT

I've been a vzw customer for almost 2 years now and my contract will be up this july. So Can you all helpd me decide to stay with vzw or move to att. I'm currently owner of a stock omnia. Awsome phone, but it locks so many features that makes it look like a metroPcs phone. Well I think Metropcs have all of their feature unlocked on their phones. Well the point is that I want omnia 2 and is also coming to ATT( i think). For sure, att will unlock all of their features on omnia 2. how will omnia 2 for att and vzw will be different????

i say tweak the heck outta your omnia and stay with vzw. at&t "thinks" that they are "the stuff" since they have the iphone. gotta look at the overall customer base. since vzw bought out/merged with alltel, they became #1 in the country.

I travel globally but hard-core in North America and travel along with folks using ATT and VZW. By far and away, if you want better service coverage you will want to stay at VZW. BTW, I use Vodaphone for my GSM service outside N America, better roaming arrangements and they gave me the GSM phone. Since LTE will be launching soon I may be able to reduce my carriers to one for real global service...hoping the phones are backward compatible to existing technology at that point given the roll-out is likely phased over time.

you should stay bc vzw has the best service than anyone and yes things are locked down but they can easily be unlocked

i have been with vzw since 02, they have never failed to come across with what i need when i call them directly, rather than deal with their stores. their coverage is simply the best, although it pi*s*s*ed me off when analog went offline, but that was no fault of theirs. i have an upgrade coming for my girlfriend's phone, let's just say she will be getting an omnia2 that will majikly transfer itself to my phone number.....

Im all for staying previous ATT customer b4 and i got to tell u. if u have a stock ROm well flash and make this bad boy come to life and show u what can it really do. Yeah the Iphone might have a million ohh look at me america Apps "lol" but if u really put it down to it u can unlock any or maybe all future that u are desiring to have for free with one of our great fellow cooks that we have here at PPC.

I thought you were going to say you wanted to get the Iphone, then I could somewhat understand. But if you will get a phone that Verizon is going to have also, stay with Verizon I think. Let's see what they do, at least they left the Wifi intact with the Omnia, maybe they wont mess up the Omnia II too much. Also, by flashing we have the gps unlocked

Even iPhone ultra-fan-boys complain that they hate AT&T's coverage. Verizon has best coverage, so it's icing on the cake I didn't know that Omnia 2 was supposedly going to AT&T?

Anyways, I'm with Adryn. You should defiantly saty.

I know this thread will be mostly biased considering the majority of us use VZW but I love it. Aside from the fact that they locked out the GPS, I couldn't imagine a better phone with better coverage for a better price.
