I don't see the Omnia 2 on ATT's list...and haven't heard a rumor of it going to ATT either but I could be wrong...

You are all completly right, VZW has better coverage and service, but hey charge and over charge for the minute usage of your phones capabilities in wich they take advantege of it. For example, I've had many bad experienced with vzw where i have to pay bills of 200 and over 300. all the explanations they give dont make sence at all. Ps, ATT has the backup from HTC. they have awsome phones. and i'm not an iphone fan, but I'm a WIndows mobile fan!!Should I wait for omnia2 and hold on to my upgrade? does anyone know when it is coming to vzw?

There are a bunch of HTC phones on Verizon too.

i dont know what minute plan ur on but maybe (if ur eligible) u should look into the friends and family thing...and also increase ur minutes ppc plans are not cheap...

i havent seen any info on when VZW is gonna drop the Omnia 2 but their track record leaves me to believe it wont be til the end of the year or early 2010...stay with ur Omnia, flash it and dont sign another contract...til u see the phone u really want...

My 12 yr old son has an itouch, neat but I feel it is a highend mp3 player at best. Most apps are gimmicks very few useful ones. Touch screen is hit or miss and the accelerometer sometimes doesn't rotate, no Blue Tooth and GPS is a dealbreaker for me at this price range.

I have a brother(doctor) who has the iphone and it is a party tool, the phone quality is horrible and ATT is the reason why, he lives in a major city so the network is problem. One buys a phone to communicate first, toy second. I have the Omnia and it operates great as a comm device. Most of the Win mobile apps are free and some are purchased (SPB shell). Highly reccomended.
