Knowing Verizon, they'll lock what they can until enough people complain, then they'll leak something, then they'll unlock it right before the omnia 3 comes out!

From the track record of Verizon, I can probably guess, that will will come with with: a crippled CPU, less RAM, no HDvideo recording and no GPS. Anyone want to add more?

Not sure if any of them will make it to VZW but Samsung released an entire new Omnia line.

It can only make calls while user is standing on head with bluetooth head set in mouth humming a milly vanilly song. The last "feature" is verizon's answer to S2U2. Gps will be unlocked if you buy the GPS hardware kit that they will sell for $89.95. The antenna included in the kit will plug directly into your rear orifice.

why was the jack also called an omnia pro. it isnt even touchscreen. also i just got my omnia this week and i was wondering if i got it too late? there are all these threads about samsung phones coming out and i was wondering if the lifetime on this phone is running out.

Samsung calls every Windows Mobile device Omnia now. This was talked about a little bit ago. Seems weird though.
