Hmm. Why not? A touchscreen laptop with My Mobiler would work I would think. Obviously it would need to be another computer and not a touch screen powered by the Omnia.

Using an external touchscreen would be tricky but possible. It's tricky because a touch screen is two devices in one. It's and output device and an input device. For you to be able to use a peripheral touch screen you already know the omnia has the output TV but now you have to get the input part to work. IF the O2 has a mini usb that would be a step in the right direction but you'll see need to get a driver so the O2 knows what to do with the signal coming from the peripheral touch screen. And that's the hard part...and will not likely happen.

A different approach would be to find a way to get the input to work through blue tooth, since blue tooth is more universal. But this creates a problem to translate the signal coming from the touch screen to something a blue tooth device can use.

In other words....you'd be lucky to get it to work.

I mean it wouldn't work as in the way most people would like it to - just plug the Omnia into a touchscreen LCD, like on a care A/V system and be able to control the phone.

Been doing my share of talk w/the reps & so far none know of any new Omnia on the Horizon. Well I don't believe this but w/my omnia is a couple weeks old, please keep us informed, theres always something better.
