Re: My First Cooked Rom

This is exciting stuff, lol. I haven't flashed my ROM yet but each time I see updates I feel it pulling me closer! It feels like a Frodo and the freakin ring scenario lol. I loved the nice basic stripped down versions you're aiming for with the option of installing other stuff on top of it as needed. Thanks for maintaining a couple versions as you update Adrynaline!

Re: My First Cooked Rom

The only thing that I really noticed is that there isn't an external gps settings icon in the system settings menu. Was this intentional?

Re: My First Cooked Rom

That isn't a default setting. You can certainly request it as a feature in future revisions though.

Re: My First Cooked Rom

Hey Adrynalyne its great to see you get your ROM up and runnig, good job! When do you think you will release the v.03 because that sounds like the one I will be flashing to and probably staying with for good. I also agree with dslayton about the external gps being in settings, maybe you could include that in v.03, just a suggestion but anyways great work.

Re: My First Cooked Rom

0.3 will be a bit. I thought I had geotagging working in the camera, that was the secret thing

I was wrong.

Anyway, I wouldn't expect it before Friday. I want to get in as many bug reports as I can.

So report away! I am looking for stability and performance.

The external gps thing is a reghack, easy enough to add.

Re: My First Cooked Rom

TRUE indeed, maybe i will flash with v.02 and give it whirl here tonite when I get home from work and I let you know how smooth things are running. I just d/l the new SPB shell 3 and I cant wait to try it so I might as well start on a fresh ROM that has the space. Whats the WIFI fix that we will need to use with v.02?

Just delete the registry entry, and install the cab.
