first off, very nice work. i have the old one running now, should i uninstall everything first? i want this one. im using a tp so i need to make a few changes for vga.

I'll try it out in My Memory later and let you know how it works (whats the worst that can happen LOL)!!!

Your being given a hard time about posting CABs? That doesn't seem right, as far as I can tell you always give credit where due, and your rep count shows people use them.

You are probably better off going to the modaco thread and applying the individual mods to the VGA version. I am unsure how it will react, as the mods are more geared for WQVGA. But really, its incredibly easy to mod this keyboard. I think there is even a write up on it in the XDA thread where FKB2 comes from.

I tried this out on both My Device and My Storage install locations after a hard reset. With it installed to My Storage I ran into some slight lag and a couple of times there were buttons stuck in the "pushed" graphic (most notably the spacebar and the keyboard toggle buttons) until I pushed the button again. Upon removing it from My Storage and putting it back it onto My Device, I didn't have those problems anymore. I'm sure your typing habits could also play a role in the perceived lag too, if you type slow like "tap tap tap tap tap" then I'm sure you won't notice it but if you type a bit faster like "tap tap tap tap" you might catch the lag with it in My Storage. Could just be me but there's my 2 cents lol.

PS - Adrynalyne, while I don't post much on here this happens to be one of my favorite forums and your efforts for the community don't go without notice. I thank you for your custom cabs and tips and tricks and hacks and all the other things you do here. Don't let a couple misinformed people ruin that for ya (yes, I believe I know which post you caught flack in and it wasn't, imo, appropriate).

not sure about the omnia, but on the tp both versions of this kb must be on main or it goes nutz. not speaking about this ops cab, just the other thread on version 1 and 2.

Anyone know if you can enable the vibration feedback on this keyboard? It's one thing I love about the Samsung Keyboard.

Very nice alternative, though. And it works with Google Maps! The portrait view is great, but the landscape view makes poor use of screen space. At least the skin I used, black/red.

GREAT KEYBOARD!!! The best I've seen so far, and i think I've tried just about all of them.

Adrynalyne....PLEASE don't let anyone discourage you from helping the rest of us out. I'm not a "power" user... and don't have time to dig through xda and modaco to find stuff for my phone. Right now, I'm pretty much relying on you and this sight to direct me towards cool gear for my Omnia.... like this keyboard for example. Thanks for all that you do!

Seriously Adrynalyne, without your cabs and hard work, my phone would be a great paperweight. Please don't get discouraged.

I know some people on here don't realize that none of these mods are endorsed or supported by Samsung or their service provider, and therefore feel they can hold you responsible for posting something.

FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE: EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE IS "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" If you can't figure that out... well... maybe you should just go play with your widgets...

No worries. I will still be adding files and what not, but to my skydrive. Makes it a bit more hassle to download, especially from a phone, but it works. That way I have control over the say in what goes in there, and everyone else can just deal with it

I stick within license guidelines if I upload other people's apps, anyway.
