Re: Data Plan
Your all wrong! I pay $29.99 a month for the web and email services also use wireless sync on my exchange account. If you are paying $45.00 you are getting ripped off unless you have a blackberry. The $45.00 plan is for the blackberry business server. So, lets say you don't have an exchange server and you are a business and want your employees to be part of an exchange group you would sign up for the $45.00 plan. I use my works exchange server, so I get the best of both worlds at $29.99.

Re: Data Plan
So if I am so wrong, and I don't believe I am, what is the difference between the 30 and 45 dollar plans then?
I already said you can connect via exchange. However, I can point you to a number of posts across the net of where people have changed to the 29 dollar plan and could no longer log into Wireless Sync. So, you tell me, whats the diff. between the two plans then? |

Re: Data Plan
Thats a Blackberry only plan. It won't even activate on a PDA phone.
http://www.wsync.com/ Its all right there, but I will call Verizon, as well. |

Re: Data Plan
"Wireless Sync" the service is just a exchange account primarily. You could go to 1and1 sign up for an exchange account for $5.00 bucks a month does the same thing as Wireless Sync and a whole lot more. Why pay $15.00 more when you can pay $5.00?

Re: Data Plan
One thing about Verizon they have horrible customer service knowledge. Every time you talk to those clowns they give you a different answer. I was curious about the difference as well so I called. The rep told me it is for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and you could sign up for the service if you don't have a blackberry. Maybe Wireless Sync is what they call BES for non BlackBerry users, but it still uses BES. Not trying to be rude.
