I just got the Omnia yesterday and I love it so far. Of course Verizon made me get the $30 a month data plan. I was wondering the plan includes. Thanks.

Email & Web Smartphone 29.99? Thats what I have and they told me unlimited web/email usage (5GB cap of course)

Actually, there is no more 5gig cap. Verizon stopped this non-sense because people started dumping the plan...

Doesn't it apply if you are tethering? I could be wrong, but that's what I heard from my buddy that works for Verizon.

No, if you're teathering then there is a 5gig cap, unless you hide teathering status...
