Re: Question about Pandora
A couple of people already gave you the answer, you have to map one of your keys so that it makes the keyboard pop up. It's in the settings somewhere

Re: Question about Pandora
Strange. It will not let me input either. With fkb2.1 or the reg. kb. I installed to \My Storage first and then tried \Device. So some of us can input and some can't.
At any rate, I installed Pandora right behind Total Commander, with soft resets between. After playing with it for ~15 minutes, trying different things, I opened TC and not knowing the icon structure, closed it. There was Pandora, with a small fkb icon partially overlaying the sign in button at the bottom right of the screen. I clicked it and fkb appeared. And away I went listening to Texas Blues. I did notice that it wouldn't close, and didn't appear in Homescreen++ Task Manager. I had to soft reset to get it closed. Later I found an exit button in Pandora. So . . . play around with it. Another thing. It doesn't ask for user name or password after that initial sign in screen. It must be a cookie holding name and password. If I knew TC I could probably find it but in the meantime there might be a guru out there that will post the cookie structure so the poor souls that can't input can add the cookie with their name and password. I bet they would even remember to hit the thanks button if someone would do that. In the meantime, I'm off to the TC tutorials. Ted

Re: Question about Pandora
Pandora is basically internet radio. You type in a band or a song and it finds similar music and plays it for you within that station. pretty cool concept.

Re: Question about Pandora
I posted this in the Pandora sticky in the Software forum but no one has replied though a couple seem to have the similar problem. Thought I'd try here.
My volume from Pandora seems to have a mind of its own in comparison with the rest of my apps. The volume is way too low. Specifically if I send my Omnia sound to my BT car deck, I have to crank up the deck volume just to get a decent sound. Then when my phone GPS software or other phone sounds come out they blast out way too loud. Pandora seems to be much softer than other media playing software I use on the phone. Am I alone on this? |

This really has ruined the use of Pandora for me. I'll keep searching. Well, I googled 'pandora volume' and it appears we are definitely not alone. Apparently, the volume problem only kicks in when the phone is connected to a headset or headphone rather than using the phone speakers and that seems right. Just playing without connecting seems adequately loud. Will continue searching more.... |
