Am I the only one who thinks Opera sucks? - Page 2

So I actually gave Opera chance today and played around with it for an hour or two. I take back what i said about it. It is a really nice browser. I have some quirks I didn't like about it, but found I could take care of them via the settings. Much nicer than PIE. I was using a beta on my XV6900 and I think there were a lot things I didn't like about it. It sems this version is very stable and much improved over the one I was using before. I moved the cache to My Storage so I don't jam up my device memory.

ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER.

how do you move the cache? sorry, new to WinMo phones and Opera. (was using a Dare til a few days ago lol)

Anyone tried the Opera 9.5.1 B2 on opera.com site, wonder if that is newer and better?

Seems to be quire a few issues know with this beta...
Known issues

ActiveX is disabled — Flash plugins and embedded video streaming do not work.
Custom software keyboards (IME) will be buggy at best, not working at worst.
No multilingual build — Only English is supported. Problems with other languages (and input methods) are not unexpected.
Installation on memory cards may cause problems.
Text wraps in overview mode.
Main testing has been done on English HTC devices (Touch Diamond, Touch Pro, Touch, Touch Dual, Touch Cruise, TyTN and Wizard) and Samsung i900.
Landscape mode does not take keyboard position into consideration.
Devices with low memory might get Out Of Memory (OOM) messages.
Opera is always running when the Widgets Manager is running.
On devices with hight DPI some of the pre-installed widgets look small.
When an URL is opened from a widget, there will be an extra browser window opened in the background that’s not working properly.

Although it does state that testing has been done on the Omnia i900, I would personally wait until a stable update is released. If you mess around with it, let us know how it works out for you.

I've installed the latest drivers from the Opera site.
I need someones help. If this is possible. I want to keep the original version that came on the VZ i910. This one keeps the samsung keypad. (the beta version defaults to WM(micro-small)keyboard). The original version puts a visual scroll diagram right in the upper left side of the screen, right when you want to be reading as you scroll down. So you have to wait just a second for the diagram to disappear to continue reading. I HATE THAT. I've posted on every forum there is and I get no response. Is that scroll diagram on your screen as well. I don't even hear anyone else complaining about it. I need to find a way to disable it. or find a version that does this:
1. Allows Samsung keyboard
2. No scroll diagram on screen
3. Enabled to play WMmedia from websites i.e. XM radio. Works in original version not new beta version.
4. I like the way favorites work better in beta version.
