SPB Mobile Shell--

Alright...I think I may stick with SPB Mobile Shell this time--now that I made my own theme via the imarche generator.

But I do see some issues. For instance, whats the deal with the last status button on the right(star)? It doesnt work, or do anything.

Screenshot:

The "My Menu" icon (The Star) here doesn't do anything, either, despite me assigning stuff to it. They are simply...got me...placeholders? They do not respond to anything. While we are at it, any way to change the icon or assign one to the --- menu? It contains the wifi, bth, phone toggles.

Well, Adrynalyne, you have the menu items either out of order or not enough of them. Otherwise your 3 led status indicator would be in the top bar. I had the same problem until I got this list just right. If it isn't just like this it won't work.

Added: When you do that your Now screen will look something like this and your MyMenu should work.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell--

wtherrell is right, the blank one is the BT/wi-fi bars and they will be on top of your screen, and My Menu is kinda like a shortcut to apps on the home screen. You can move a lot of the folders around, but those two need to be where they are in the picture. Moving a few around will cause phantom images on some screens, and non working icons (as you have run into).

Trust me....when you get that licked, Shell is fantastic using Imache's app.

If you need help creating your own background images for the background generator let me know....it gets tricky!!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell--

I use shell a lot, .. easy on the eyes and a good program to show off your omnia if combined with 3.1 theme pack!

that star i haven't figured out yet, .. it was working before, but now it's useless here :P

Basically shell is everything you'll need if you wanna use your omnia to the fullest

Re: SPB Mobile Shell--

Compuse...if you go back to wtherrell's first screen shot and follow that menu structure, the star icon SHOULD work. The one step not explained in that though is you have to go into the Customize Menu area and assign some apps to My Menu.

If all that is done and is still doesn't work, let us know what it is doing (with screen shots if applicable) and we will see what can be done!!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell--

I assume you guys are installing SPB Mobile shell and everything to do with it to device memory and not on My Storage? Thinking about giving it another whirl, I know I had it previously on my XV6700 for quite some time but ended up removing it to conserve on storage space I think. Currently w/o it installed yet, I am down to 27.20 MB free storage memory and that's after clearing out Opera/PIE, ect.. caches and running memmaid. Suggestions?

Re: SPB Mobile Shell--

Other than installing all you can on My Memory, all I can say is give it a shot!! I think it is worth the memory for how well Shell works + looks on the Omnia!!!

Also...if by 'everything to do with it' you mean Imache's skinning app, that can go on My Memory without any problems!!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell--

SPB Mobile Shell didnt give me the option, of where to install it. It went straight to My Memory. I use the skins from My Storage, but I am sure they get copied to My Memory as they are enabled.

Re; The images, I am good. I found a 16 bit converter that doesn't break the bank.
