Getting IMAP Email on Omnia

Good News,

I figured out what was going on with my PERSONAL email, but no luck with my school email yet. I am using the Verizon SMTP server to send emails, but originally it wasn't working. The only thing wrong was that apparently the Omnia turns off its "Broadband Access" functionality when it is plugged into the computer via ActiveSync...I don't get it, but for some reason that was the only problem...

I am still trying to figure out my school email, but I have got to double check the server addresses, etc...Thanks for all of the help thus far...

If your school Outlook is working OK and you want to duplicate it on your phone, are you able to use Outlook Tools->Account Settings to see how the accounts are set up?

You should be able to see the incoming and outgoing server names, etc.

I suppose the SMTP server may be locked up and only available when you are at school and under their domain. If so then I'm useless unless you have another outgoing server you can use.

That is what I thought initially...Apparently it is not that easy...I sent an email to our school syshelp and hopefully they will be able to help me out...

I am having trouble setting up my roadrunner account. The out going server is not working. I am using smtp-server.xx.xx.com. What are using to get it to work?
