Customization? Open source? ?

Chris
I currently use SPB Mobile Shell, but enjoy uninstalling stuff and trying something new for a while.
I like M2D for its ease of use and customization, but at present there does seem to be a lot of changes required to the HTCHomeSettings.xml file each time i install a different theme.

The only new UI i am keen to try is the http://www.pointui.com/ v2 that is due very soon.
