I have already reduced the system font size, which helped. But, I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to simply eliminate the column altogether? Registry key addition or change? HTML or CSS template? I'll feel like an idiot if it's just a check box somewhere that I haven't been able to find. Thanks in advance.

I'd love to see a nice, finger-friendly alternative for WM6.1 Outlook (which I use for my Exchange Server with ActiveSync)--something like Vito's SMS-CHAT. But, I've Google'd hard and haven't seen anything like that.
I found a DWORD at HKCU\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\INBOX\SETTINGS called ShowDateTime, which is set to 1. As a test, I set it to 0, soft booted, and sure enough the date and time were missing from the Inbox list view. I changed it back (since I need that information), but I decided to try adding DWORDs to that key: ShowFileSize and ShowSize. I tried each one separately with the value set to 0, soft boots in between, with no luck. But, this testing really makes me think there's a registry hack that will accomplish removing the file size column from the Inbox list view.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: Omnia Hacks / Tips / Tricks

Hello,
Can anyone tell me why the icons go blank? They work but there is no pictures. Not all of them, it appears they are self installed programs?

Icons that are in the Today Screen etc. I am also using iLauncher and some in there are just generic blanks. I did see the original icons when I loaded the programs Resco Radio, Regedit, Web TV, etc.

I'm not familiar with iLauncher, maybe you could search their support site and find your answers there.

When using threaded messaging, it only gives you a small area to see your text between above messages and the keyboard. You can increase this by copying this file to \Windows.

Unzip and copy it, using something like resco.
I decided to try to do this, but ran into an error. Using Windows Explorer, I opened the \Windows directory on my phone and tried to drag the unzipped file into it. However, I got an "access denied" error. I've shut down all tasks, so I don't think the file is in use, but it is a read-only file so that might be the problem. However, I couldn't find a way to make the file on the Omnia not be read-only. Any thoughts on what's going wrong or how to solve it? I also tried to use a copy/paste from my storage card to the \Windows directory but ran into the same problem.

You'll need a different explorer application. Try Total Commander or Resco Explorer (not free).

Ah, that would explain the problem. Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Re: Omnia Hacks / Tips / Tricks

Hey Ad, or anyone who may know the answer, I saw you posted in the middle of this thread a cab called Adryn TaskswitcherKiller. Is that supposed to kill that thing where you slide your finger slowly from the bottom up, and you get that box on the bottom that allows you to end tasks? If so, I noticed by trying and seeing some comments on the download page that it doesnt work on the CC20 ROM. Do you know of any way to get it to work on that ROM? The reason it is so important to me is that with S2U2, while the lock is on, the task manager can still pop up if you accidentally slide your finger up, and you can actually end the S2U2 by pressing End All and it will unlock the phone. I have the X Button program installed, so I dont really need the task manager anyway.....
