Settings --> Personal --> Sounds and notifications --> Notifications (tab) --> Event (drop down) --> Low battery (uncheck play sound, uncheck screen notification)

So far so good! No obnoxious beeping or signs...

I don't have the low battery event under Settings >.....Notifications. Is that because the registry hacks cause the low battery events to appear there?
If not, I wonder why they do not appear in Sounds and Notifications.

Re: Omnia Hacks / Tips / Tricks

All is needed is to create a registry entry.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\ Samsung Today 2]
"Order"=dword:00000003
"Flags"=dword:00000000
"Enabled"=dword:00000001
"Options"=dword:00000001
"Type"=dword:00000005
"Selectability"=dword:00000002
"DLL"="secst.dll"

Thats it. Doesn't even require a reboot. This may also be the answer to those having issues with Samsung Today 2 on their VZW Omnias, too.

OK guys - from the 1st post (since it was untried) does this work on the VZW Omnia?
New to WM and do not want to create a brick...

Did you go to the exact same spot I listed? It is one of the tabs.

I'm not sure what the heck that registry entry actually physically does. I wish I did as I hate performing tasks I don't fully understand....but it will take some time to understand this....

The reghack enables the notifcation options.

Yes, it is specifically for the VZW Omnia. It is not needed for the i900, as it is already in place.

The reghack is the only reason you are seeing that option.

Create a String Value named Default. For the value, name is Low Battery Warning.

You will now be able to modify the settings under Notifcations.

Or import this reg file.

Got Resco FE last night. Used it today to enter the above from your post above. Easy as falling off a log....and it works!!

Thanks again!
