There are a few things like that our Omnia's are very unique in, so I wouldn't be suprised if that has something to do with it as well. A couple other things Omnia is unique in is the battery charge reedout and the carrier name display. Thay is why we don't get the animated charging from S2U2 and have to use Personalizer to get a carrier/personalized name to sow in the upper left corner of the lock screen.

Another thing to look onto may be keyboard hook? I am not 100% sure what that does, but I turn it off to enable the volume control. If there is any button mapping being done, that may cause issues as well (?).

Thanks for the feedback, I agree it must be something to do with another app or setting. I dont have the hardkeys remapped, but I did change the soft keys at the bottom to Phonebook and Main Menu.

BTW, what all programs are you running. I'm starting to thing it has something to do with the way S2U2 interacts with Mobile Shell 3.

Lol, glad you're here! I dont know where to start, I have so many programs, it will take me some time but i will try to make a list of them. I will say this though, I dont have mobile shell or spb or anything, i have the cc20 rom with the regular samsung widget today screen.

No Mobile Shell huh? Darn...I was hoping that might be the culprit. If you don't mind, can you post a list of your installed programs (screen shot or list, or you can PM me). I will see if we overlap anywhere since very few people seem to be having this issue.

I changed a couple of settings and now it seems to wake up when I hit the front buttons. I dont know if this is something temporary, and it will go back to the way it was, or maybe now my phone isnt going to sleep at all, maybe the screen is just turning off? I dont even know how to tell for sure if its sleeping still. Anyway, under the s2u2 power settings, I changed "but only on Blank Screen" to off. Under Advanced settings, I changed "Dont use Keyboard Hook" to On. If you can try that out, let me know what happens. Im pretty sure that is all I changed, if I remember correctly. Im working on the list of programs now, Ill post them for you in a sec...

Edit: Can someone tell me what exactly "but only on blank screen" means? I think it means that if you are not on the today screen, s2u2 will come on but your phone wont go into sleep mode? I actually am not even sure, hopefully somebody knows what I did there

At least on mine, the phone is not really in sleep mode, because one time I was accidentally able to make a call (actually, receive a call) with it in this mode. Also, if you swipe your finger over the optical mouse, it will vibrate, telling me that something is going on, I'm just not able to see it.

I will play around with the settings and see what I can find.

As for "But only on blank screen", that means that is only blanks the screen and does not put the phone into sleep mode. That might be worth checking into...

Vols, are you sure that is what "But only on blank screen" means? That doesn't make sense to me. I could be wrong though.

Also, I just pressed the power button to turn s2u2, and i swipe my finger on the optical mouse and it doesnt vibrate. when i get out of s2u2, it does vibrate when i swipe it. not sure if that for sure means it is in sleep mode, or what...

Edit: You know what else sucks that I just realized. Even while the lock is on (but the phone is awake with the light on), you can slide your finger from the bottom up and make the task manager/ender thing appear. And if you accidentally click on end all, it will end s2u2 and unlock your phone! I wish there was a way to block that. SHould I go report that to xda to the developer? He seems really good at fixing stuff once he is aware of it.

I really like this software! 2 questions:

1. Is there a way to incorporate the s2u2 message notification previews into the Omnia while I use it? I think the previews are great, but it would be nice if I could get them while actually using the device.

2. For a smartphone forum, isn't it strange that there is no mobile version of it?

I'm confused about something. There are power settings in S2u2, and also the Omnia power settings. Does the s2u2 override the one in the phone settings? Because in the phone settings you can set the phone to go into sleep mode after a minute, two minutes, three, etc. And in s2u2, it's like 15 seconds after it locks, or up to 20 I think. If both those settings are different, which is the phone using?

2. Just go to the bottom of the screen on yer phone and change marvel 2 to lite.
