Re: Can we install Java in Omnia
Open Jblend, and look at the programs underneath there. The java apps only show there, and not all work. Point in case, I installed the youmail java shortcut, twice, and its still MIA.

Re: Can we install Java in Omnia
I used to have the XV6900 (verizon version of HTC Touch). My buddy had an Alltel HTC Touch. Same phone basicly. However, his would work great with Java programs and mine wouldn't. Why is that? Wouldn't it just be a simple procedure to install his 'java' onto the Omnia?

Re: Can we install Java in Omnia
I have Jblend on my phone, and I've been running a couple Java games on it with no problem. I will try out the gmail app and see if I can get it to work, and let you guys know...
Edit: Sorry, I dont think it does work. After it downloads and installs the files, I cant find anything on my phone. Does anyone know where the files end up getting downloaded, so that I can delete them? I used Internet Explorer to download the files, and I looked through File Explorer but cant seem to find them..
